Industrial Tank / Container / Rail Car Cleaning

Overview

Cleaning storage containers, such as rail cars, chemical totes, aboveground storage tanks, and shipping containers is an important feature of any industrial maintenance process. Whether for product transfer, inspections, or general maintenance, efficient, effective cleaning is required to minimize downtime and extend the life of your containers.

Challenges

Containers that are not cleaned properly can result in financial losses as new batches of chemicals can become contaminated with the tank residue. The results could be lost sales, damage to the container, and costly disposal fees.

To properly clean some containers requires the entry of personnel into a confined space. To maintain the cleanings "in-house" requires a significant investment in employee training and safety equipment. In addition, worker's compensation liability is significantly increased.
